Description

The Australian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (AustCham Shanghai) is a well-established and experienced organisation led by a voluntary Board of Directors and managed by a team at the Secretariat.

Founded in 1994 as the China Australia Chamber of Commerce, today AustCham Shanghai is a modern networking organisation, offering various levels of membership.

AustCham Shanghai works on behalf of 420 members including 330 corporates represented by more than 2000+ card-carrying employees.

Corporate membership covers all employees of a company so that the actual number of people enjoying AustCham Shanghai membership benefits is in the thousands. Moreover, members can choose from 120 events per year that attracts over 10,000 attendees in total, providing a formidable base for business networking.

Operating on a non-partisan, non-profit-making basis, the Chamber is funded by membership subscriptions, sponsorship and activities. It annually makes significant donations to its three Corporate Social Responsibly strategic partners.
